We have been serving the Central Coast since 1955, and our longevity Is largely the result of having volunteers like you!

Maintenance Volunteers

Objective: Assist with facility and grounds upkeep

Duties: Varies according to the needs of the shelter

Qualifications:

1. Must be 18 years of age
2. Must complete a Volunteer Application

Training:

1. Attend the Welcome Orientation

Commitment: This position is project and need driven

Supervision: Maintenance Engineer and/or the Director of Shelter Operations

Volunteers under 18 years of age

Must have a parent/guardian release form on file

Volunteers under 16 years of age

Must have a parent/guardian present to volunteer

Community Service Program

Woods Humane Society welcomes participants with both school and court requested community service hours to join us in helping to provide a premier level of care for the dogs and cats at Woods.
