  • What is the Pets of the Year Calendar Contest?

    • The Pets of the Year Calendar Contest is a peer-based fundraiser for Woods Humane Society which runs September 1 -30. Register here!

  • Do I have to pay to participate?

    • Yes. For a $25 registration fee, you will be entered into the contest for a chance to win great prizes and will receive a print calendar.

  • Are there requirements for my photo submission?

  • What makes for a good photo?

    • First and foremost, set your camera to the highest resolution possible! Next, turn off your flash. Then, capture a photo that is free of clutter and focuses on your pet.

  • Do I have to register to support Woods?

    • You do not have to enter the contest to support us! You are welcome to cast votes ($1 = one vote) or donate to support Woods Humane Society!

  • How do I set up my contest page?

  • How do I know if my photo is eligible for the print calendar?

    • Read our Contest Rules to determine if your photo meets eligibility requirements.
