June 23rd:
Critter Camp officially begins and we will run our week
long summer day camps for 10 weeks throughout summer.
July 20th:
Woods Humane Society will be on hand for the first annual
“Golden’s in the Park” event at Laguna Lake Park in SLO.
This event is an opportunity for local dog enthusiasts
to get together and celebrate a day at the park with
their golden retrievers. More info will be available as
the event continues to develop.
OCTOBER 18th is
WIGGLE WAGGLE #16! Woods Humane Society hosts
our 16th annual Pledge Walk and Pet Fair to
benefit the homeless animals of the Central Coast. The
event will take place from 9am-2pm at Laguna Lake Park
in San Luis Obispo. Check back for updates and don’t
forget to mark your calendars.
September 20th:
2nd Annual Cause for Paws event
at the Chumeia Winery in Paso Robles. Join us and the
menagerie of Chumeia dogs for a day filled with wine,
food, wine specials, doggie adoptions and doggie items
for sale, all to benefit the homeless animals that are
calling Woods Humane Society their home. 10am-5pm at the
