Every summer, Woods Humane Society opens our doors to the youth of San Luis Obispo County who share our love for animals. Each week long camp includes fun camp activities, crafts, animal presentations, and a field trip. Campers will also have the opportunity to work hands on with one of our loveable Woods’ dogs, teaching them tricks and sharing a week of summer together. Critter Camp is a week long summer day camp that runs Monday-Thursday from 10am to
4pm and 12pm-6pm on Fridays (we hold a graduation ceremony for the kids and the dogs on Friday evening). Camp will begin the week of June 23rd and continue each week through August 24th. Spaces are limited and fill up quickly so please enroll your child soon to guarantee their spot. The cost is $150 per camper. This year, we are also offering early drop off from 8:30-10:00am Mon-Thurs for an additional $50.
Enrollment for camp opens on APRIL 15th and you will need to stop by Woods to complete our camp registration. You may also download and print out our application through the link below. We also have a limited number of scholarships available for children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in our fun summer activities due to financial limitations.
